Spay Neuter Services of Indiana
 Mission Statement

The mission of Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana, Inc. (SNSI) is to eliminate the killing of healthy and treatable cats, dogs, puppies and kittens. SNSI will accomplish this by providing spay/neuter surgical fee assistance through partnerships with private practice veterinarians and low-cost clinics, collaborating with other animal welfare groups, and promoting humane education.

High Quality, Low Cost Spay/Neuter

SNSI can offer low-cost, affordable spay/neuter prices to pet owners because, as a non-profit 501c3 organization, we receive private donations and grants that allow us to subsidize the true, higher cost of spay/neuter surgeries. This keeps our prices low for our clients.

Standard of Care

SNSI believes that all animals should receive the highest quality veterinary care possible, even if the services provided are at a reduced-cost. The vets that SNSI partners with use state of the art instruments and equipment. Our vets do not cut corners or compromise quality. All spay/neuter surgeries are performed by qualified, licensed veterinarians (DVMs). If you wish, you may personally verify a veterinary license at https://extranet.in.gov/weblookup/.

Additional Clinics and Resources

If you don't see a clinic in your area, please call the statewide spay-neuter referral service toll-free at (866) 957-7729. This line is answered LIVE (not a recording) during business hours by the staff at the Pets Alive Spay/Neuter Clinic in Bloomington, Indiana. Callers will be provided with low cost spay/neuter options in their area.

How you can help...

Volunteer and help be part of the solution! 		National statistics estimate that somewhere between four and six million unwanted cats, dogs, kittens and puppies are killed in US shelters every year. There are several ways that you can help be part of the solution to end the killing.

  • Spay or Neuter your pet.
  • Adopt a pet from your local shelter or rescue group. Do not buy a pet from a breeder or pet store.
  • Support animal organizations committed to ending animal suffering.
  • Educate your children and others about responsible pet ownership.
