Spay/Neuter Discounts & Advantages

Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana (SNSI) is offering huge discounts on spay/neuter surgeries for the month of February. Fixed prices are as follows: Cat/spay - $30-$35, Cat/neuter - $25, Dog/spay - $45-$50, Dog/neuter - $35. The hot pink certificate is available at all Marion County Libraries, some surrounding libraries and by request at 317.788.6330. A white version of the certificate can be downloaded at SNSI's Web site www.spayneuterservices.org.

Spaying or neutering your dog or cat benefits you and your pet in many ways.
1. Your pet will lead a healthier life by eliminating the possibility of uterine, ovarian, or testicular cancer.
2. Your pet will be less likely to run away, roam the neighborhood, or display aggressive behaviors such as biting.
3. Sterilized pets are less likely to mark their territory by spraying on your furniture.
4. You, the public, will save millions of dollars in the care of homeless and unwanted cats and dogs. One set of unsterilized dogs or cats can produce over 66,000 more animals per set within six years if they all are left unsterilized. Source www.SpayUSA.org.

Everyone is eligible for SNSI's February Pet Overpopulation campaign. The back of the certificate lists vets that are participating in this year's drive. They are located in the following Indiana cities: Indianapolis, Fishers, Avon, Bloomfield, Anderson, Franklin, Westfield, Danville, McCordsville, Greenfield, New Palestine, Carmel, Plainfield, Sheridan, Martinsville, Camby, Zionsville, Greenwood, Noblesville.
